SPEAK Cosmos Nº1 · The Moon: Eno-Astronomical Experience among vineyards

On March 23, Bodegas HABLA embarked on a memorable astronomical journey from its vineyard, located in Trujillo (Cáceres).

On the occasion of the celebration of the spring equinox, SPEAKS Cosmos No. 1 – “The Moon” It aimed to merge earth and sky in an eno-astronomical experience, with a full crew of cosmonauts passionate about wine and the SPEAK universe. Under the direction of the HABLA oenology and wine tourism team and the team of astronomical disseminators of the “Extremadura, Good night” strategy, The adventure culminated in a perfect moon landing; which included a visit to the winery, an astronomical aesthetic pairing dinner and observation of the moon and stars from the vineyard with professional equipment and telescopes.

An experience that will last not only in our memory, but also in our sky. To celebrate the exceptional reception this initiative had, we have registered a star with the name HABLA Cosmos Nº1 and all attendees were able to take a copy of the record with its viewing coordinates.

ENO-ASTRONOMIC TRIP FOR FAMILIES

It was 7:00 p.m. and the first crew members arrived at the HABLA Winery, while the haze threatened to overshadow the experience.

The trip took off with visit to the winery, where astronomy was intertwined with the production of the most exquisite wines, establishing a parallel between astronomy and organic viticulture at Bodegas HABLA.

During a stellar dinner, the tasting of four wines harmonized with tapas of astronomical aesthetics It fused earthly flavors with heavenly charm. Each sip, a constellation of nuances; Each bite, a galaxy of flavors that dance on the palate. The explanations of the oenology team were intertwined with those of the astronomical popularizers, creating a very fun and interesting atmosphere.

At nightfall, The Bodegas HABLA vineyard was transformed into a private observatory. Telescopes and projection systems directed by the astronomical disseminators of the “Extremadura, Good Night” strategy guided us through the wonders of the night sky, focusing on the wonderful Moon that welcomed us that night. All this, accompanied by a glass of TALK about you… Rosé, the new rosé wine of the winery and that attendees were able to taste for the first time.

Without a doubt, it was a night to remember. SPEAK Cosmos is an activity specially designed to be enjoyed as a family, as a couple and with all those who are passionate about wine and the secrets that our starry sky hides.

Last March 23, under the mantle of the spring equinox, the moon revealed itself in a 95% and was able to reveal its most hidden charms and secrets. Furthermore, the equinoxes are very special times, when day and night have the same duration throughout the planet; symbol of a new beginning and rebirth.
